creating concept designs for tiny fairies for Lord & Taylor 2017 Holiday at Spaeth Design in New York.
Presently I am working as a freelance illustrator and concept artist. Most notably in creating hand rendered concept illustrations for 2017 holiday windows of the Ralph Lauren men’s shop on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Working with the design and visual departments I also created character renderings, working drawings, and concept illustrations for the 2017 holiday season for Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord and Taylor via Spaeth Design. Previous projects with Spaeth Design have included the creation and installation of scenic and properties elements for holiday window displays for projects including Jeff Leatham for Bloomingdales, Saks fifth Avenue, Lord and Taylor/Hudson Bay Holiday displays, Tiffany & Co New York and Harry Winston.
Since arriving in New York in 2010, I've explored in great depth and interest, the area of spatial visual design. Early assignments included assisting Award winning Scenic Designers and Artists such as Beowulf Borritt (Rock Of Ages/Act One) and Sean McArdle (Bengal Tiger At The Baghdad Zoo). Since then I've worked as a freelance prop designer in New York City for venues including The Atlantic Theatre and in film. For six seasons I have had the honour of working with Keen Company of New York, whose diverse selection of plays and musicals has greatly contributed to my mental database of sources and professional relationships within the New York theatre community. I’ve also worked as a Propertys Master for The Public Theater, arranging their shows Eclipsed (2015) and Sweat (2016), which then transferred to Broadway houses. In conjunction with the public I also oversaw the arrangement of propertys for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons of Public Works presentations at the Delacourte Theater in Central Park.
